The dot represents a limit, not necessarily a real one, but the point beyond which we may not yet see other possibilities.
Why we meet
Beyond the Dot began with an idea of bringing people together to share their knowledge, experiences and ideas, and explore what they might create with them.
Our intention is to create a space where we can question those limits, look at things from different perspectives and learn from one another.
What we each bring
We each bring different skills, interests, experiences and ambitions. By sharing them, we hope to discover opportunities for collaboration, develop ideas and explore ways of generating income beyond our existing employment.
Financial independence matters to us, but so does how we get there. We want to build on what we know, what we enjoy and what we care about, rather than simply pursue opportunities for the sake of making money.
Every Tuesday, 4pm
These meetings are an opportunity to think together, exchange practical knowledge, test ideas and support each other in taking small steps towards something new.
We don’t know yet what will come out of these conversations. There may be individual projects, joint ventures, new sources of income or simply useful connections and learning.
The intention is to make room for possibilities we haven’t yet considered and find out what we can make of them together.
